As we commemorate GCSE Results Day a little differently this year, we will be sharing how our students are celebrating their results and what they are most looking forward to in Sixth Form. This blog will be updated throughout the day so make sure to check back.

Share how you are celebrating your #CHSuccess via the Google Form.

CHS Head Neil Smith said: “Once again CHS’s students have done themselves proud with another set of outstanding results and I speak on behalf of all of the staff in wishing Year 11 congratulations – not only for their grades, but also in their attitude and approach to their studies during these particularly testing times. Their success is a huge achievement and I’m delighted that their grades truly reflect their continued endeavour.”

Lily celebrated her 3 x 9s with her family:

Rohit will be joining the Sixth Form in September to study English Language, English Literature, History and Classical Civilisation. His dream job is to be a writer. He is most looking forward to having a “fresh start in the CHS Sixth Form, being able to meet all sorts of new people and embrace all kinds of new opportunities.”

He said “I’m so pumped with my grades after such a hectic and uncertain year! I never dreamed I’d get almost straight 9s in my GCSEs this year, and to celebrate me and my family are going out to dinner together tonight. I’m so excited to begin my journey at Cheadle Hulme School next year.

Rohit’s advice for any students starting their GCSEs is “Give it your all during the school year- you’ll find it really pays off when you do your exams!

Olivia achieved 9 x 9s and 1 x 8. She said “Very proud with my GCSE grades. I’m going out with my parents for something to eat to celebrate! I am most looking forward to getting back to school, starting sixth form and seeing everyone!”
